An eccentric and somewhat older fellow with the disarming charm that a fox would envy, he lives in the ‘thumb’ of the Rockhand College for mages. Accounts vary but he has been walking the land since the end of the Old Empire and did not age since then. Cursed or blessed with eternal life, even he cannot say but his gifts of foresight are said to be greater than that of the Royal Family and with greater clarity on a place and time. By his own account, he is plagued by terrible deeds in his dreams as if he bore the guilt for all the world's calamities and maniacal laughter carried in the wind that follows like his own shadow. Though he stated he could mayhaps be killed by the hand of another, his attempts have been unsuccessful so far. He was welcomed by the mages of the Rock for his brilliant contributions, naturally considering his age, and the gift of foresight but was given a personal tower due to the volatile and downright dangerous nature of his practices. All the knowledge and centuries of accumulating studies of various magical crafts may make him one of the most dangerous yet gentile people in the Kingdom. Rarely under great stress does he tend to flare up in power but such events are long seen coming and their retreats into the bowels of the College; where nothing living nor dead remains after such surges. Access to the Seer is only granted if he and the current leader of the College agree to it; those doors are sealed by the arts, of which only the Seer and only this mage know how to dispel them fully. Although the Thumb of the Rockhand College is his known and publically known abode, the Seer is known travelling to and thro' the nearby, ancient woods of Sorjorn by a few trusted individuals. In a time now forgotten, the woods of Sorjorn were a jewel of elvendom upon Tiagion. Now, it is plagued by a terrible curse spoken by the vile Didact-Emperor; breeding disease and horror on all that tread here.
Yet, the Seer was never troubled by this curse. When not counselling the mages of the College, he even takes abode here with a few others strong of mind. Only here can he find serenity from choirs of lamentation which haunt him, forevermore.
